New Hope Website

For a number of years New Hope Community Church utilized an expensive CMS to publish their web content. For financial reasons that service was shut down and the site became a static site with minimal php to make the site manageable. This became to burdensome on the staff to keep up to date with promotional information, sermon recordings and calendar items. We helped by moving their site into Joomla! and redesigning the site.

Some of the key features they were looking for included:

• A calendar app for managing and promoting church activities
• An audio publishing app for recorded sermons
• and the ability to update content without the knowledge of HTML

We used Joomla components, such a Nivo-Szaki Slider and SermonSpeaker, to enhance the user experience while maintaining the use of the Joomla admin console. This configuration became the basis of our design for Trinity Christian Center. Post-launch efforts included email transition and Joomla! training.
